Also, During the last seven months the engine was removed, all components were removed and the engine bay was stripped and repainted. Then, the engine, saphire, wiring, and all components were overhauled, restored and painstakingly reinstalled. Afterwards, the landing gear was removed and overhauled to new condition, along with all wheel well components.

After reinstallation of all components the aircraft was test flown for one hour, flown to Air Venture in Oshkosh Wisconsin and then back to Rockford, IL.




As a testament to the skill of the Pride Restoration team all of these flights were conducted with "0" squawks.
